The Robber Button (TRB) is a 57 foot Semi-Trad Narrowboat, she has a 45 bhp Barrus Shire Engine and a 3kw inverter-charger with both 12 and 240 volts. She has all of the mod cons of central heating, a Squirrel wood/coal burner, Microwave/oven it's a clever duel thingy plus a gas oven and hob, a fridge, a power shower and pump out toilet, but NO TV!!! She can be hooked up to a shore line at the marina or if on journeys we have a petrol generator for the evenings if we need to use the microwave oven thingy. She was built in 2006 by Keith Woods and fitted out by James Barron-Clarke. We bought her from Tim and Libby at Braunston Marina and registered her as new at the end of August 2007.
The Robber Button is moored at Hatherton Marina in Staffordshire on the Staffs. Both myself English Blogger and Mrs EB (Scubasis) can add to this blog.....we hope you enjoy it and our trips.
We have done the blacking twice now, so limited experience. I would recommend using a roller it is so much easier than a brush and seemed just as effective. You can see our last experience of doing our blacking at
